My name is Steve Haun. My Granfather was born around 1890 in Monroe County,Tn. I am looking for a Haun family crest or coat of arms. I know most Haun's from Germany used the rooster.

I came across the website of Friedrich Haun some time ago and liked it immediately. He's a photographer and has made some beautiful pictures as well as photo reports.

The site has an unusual "super cinemascope" format (i.e. you need to scroll sideways). Check it out, even if you can't read German.

Funny - I've stayed in Scotland for eight months a couple of years ago (for one of my previous employers) but never noticed that there is a place named Haun there (on one of the outer hebrides islands).

If you had problem accessing haun.info tonight between 22:30 and 23:30 CET - sorry, the site was upgraded to catch up with the ever-evolving Geeklog software that is used to run this site.
